General Terms and Conditions

The website and shop is dedicated to the presentation of products and services and the sale of handmade ceramic products. The general terms of operation of the website are set by Maruša Mazej, self-employed in culture, designer. The online store operates in accordance with ZVOP-1, ZVPot, ZEPT and ZVPNPP. A user is a person who uses the online store and/or is a customer in the marusamazej.com online store. The e-mail received about the order status is considered a purchase contract and is available to users upon their written request.

Prices of products and services

The prices of products and services are valid at the time of placing the order. Prices do not have a predetermined validity, they can change in the case of promotions and other special offers. All prices are in euros and do not include VAT based on Paragraph 1 of Article 94 of the Value Added Tax Act. Maruša Mazej – self-employed in culture, designer is not liable for VAT. The price does not include delivery, except in cases of special offers.

Shopping in the online store

Each product in the marusamazej.com online store has its own name, description, weight, dimensions and price. By clicking the “ADD TO CART” button, the selected quantity of products is added to the online basket. The customer can edit the status in the basket by adding, removing or changing the quantity of ordered products. You move to the next point of the process by clicking on the shopping cart where you review the products and then continue by clicking on “CHECKOUT”. This is followed by entering your data and paying with your credit card. By clicking on “BUY NOW” you complete your purchase.

Payment

In the marusamazej.com online store there are different payment methods available.

Delivery and delivery period

Products ordered from the marusamazej.com online store are delivered with Pošta Slovenije d.o.o.

Shipping costs to addresses in Slovenia depend on the size of the order. Due to the different weight and dimensions of each product, shipping costs vary. They will be indicated before the purchase is completed.

Approximate shipping costs in Slovenia:
Up to 100g: €2.4
From 100g to 700g: €3.4
Over 700g: €4.40

Complaints and factual errors

For all complaints, you can contact me via email. In case of problems with the products or a wrongly delivered shipment, we will find the most appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

The consumer can assert his rights from a material defect if he informs the seller about the defect within two months from the day the defect was discovered. The consumer must accurately describe the defect in the defect notification and allow the seller to inspect the goods. The consumer can notify the seller of the defect personally (in this case, the seller is obliged to issue a certificate), he can send it to the store where the goods were purchased or to the seller’s representative with whom he concluded the contract (Article 37, ZVPot). In the case of a material defect, the customer may, at his choice, request: rectification of the defect in the goods, or refund of the amount paid in proportion to the defect, or replacement of the goods with new, flawless goods, or refund of the amount paid.

The seller is not responsible for material defects in the goods that appear in a period longer than two years from the date of purchase.

Returns and exchanges

The customer can return the received order within 14 days without justification. The deadline starts counting one day after the date of collection of the package. Withdrawal from the contract is sent by the consumer to the seller’s e-mail address: marusa.mazej@gmail.com

Products must be returned in their original packaging and free of charge. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

The customer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in cases when a product has been manufactured according to the precise instructions of the customer, when it has been modified to his personal needs, when it has already been used or when it is not suitable for resale due to hygienic reasons.

In case of product return, the seller will return all received payments no later than eight days after receiving the returned goods. The online store marusamazej.com will return the received payment by transfer to the customer’s bank account, which were indicated in the notice of withdrawal from the contract, or in another agreed way.
